Available immediately Intes.net is seeking a Network Administrator / Technician. This 6 month to perm. contract position is focused on maintaining an extensive client base with mainly Windows 98/Win2K client stations and NT & Win2K servers. **Sorry no Agencies or H1b's considered at this time.**
Requirements:
- Two years plus + work experience and / or a college degree in a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot LAN / WAN and TCP/IP issues
- Strong Windows client and server skills
- Ability to assist in the evaluation, testing, and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on customer needs
- PC hardware knowledge
- Ability to interface with clients of all levels
- Commitment and dedication to task and job
- Comfortable with detailed documentation of work performed
- Travel in and around the Washington DC Metro area is required, and transportation a must
- MCSE or MCP certification
Pluses:
- Linux or UNIX familiarity
Salary structured is a base salary plus a set hourly rate.
