The Environment

openInteract is an adaptive community environment developed for rapid implementation and growth for almost any online community. The environment equips community members with collaboration, commerce and knowledge tools provided for interaction with the community provider (Portal), other community members(Extranet), a members own clients and partners (Website) and even their own corporate employees (Intranet). In this way an openInteract community can become the center of activity for not only its members but all of their employees, clients and partners.

Community Interaction

openInteract is built around the needs, rules and behaviors of business groups (members). It offers each member a range of business tools, supporting interaction between a company and its employees (B2E), a company and its customers (B2C) and between one or more companies (B2B).
This flexibility of implementation allows a provider to simultaneously offer:

- A central point for their community to interact, build relationships and do research.
- Tools that allow members to provide services to their employees and customers.
- New avenues to disseminate and gather information from a wider audience.


B2B, B2C & B2E Interaction

We have packaged starter-kits of corporate, collaboration and commerce tools for portal providers to implement as needed. And a special set of incentive tools have been included to help retain members and keep the community active and engaged. We realize that every implementation is unique and has its own specific needs, therefore we provide customization and new tool development upon request.

openinteract uses multi-tiered security to allow various levels of access to tools and data according a user’s rights. Some tools and data may be viewed by the general public, while others may only be accessible to registered users. There may even be different levels of registered users allowing additional access to tools and information.




An online community is only useful if it is available to your members. So we’ve built openInteract with proven Internet technologies to provide rock-solid stability, scalability and power (Linux, Apache, Perl, SSL). And we install the environment on our higly fault tolerant MNS Companion Server. So you can rest assured that your community will be active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
